First Choice Nurses is seeking experienced PCU Registered Nurses for per diem hospital shifts in Virginia. Pick up shifts that fit your life with options from 7a-7p or 7p-7a, and enjoy the freedom to control your schedule.

Qualifications include an active Virginia RN license, 2+ years in PCU within the last 4 years, BLS, ACLS, and routine health screenings. Per diem pay and flexible weekly options make FCN a trusted local staffing partner.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN License is required.
• Minimum 2 years of recent PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years.
• Current AHA BLS certification is required.
• Current AHA ACLS certification is required.
• QuantiFERON-TB test within the past 12 months is required.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption is required.

Responsibilities

• Assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient conditions.
• Monitoring cardiac rhythms and changes in patient status.
• Administering medications, IV therapies, and ordered treatments.
• Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Maintaining accurate and timely electronic medical records.
• Following facility infection-control and patient-safety standards.
• Educating patients and families regarding care and discharge plans.
• Adapting professionally to different hospital units and environments.

Skills

Active Virginia RN License

2+ years PCU nursing experience

Current AHA BLS

Current AHA ACLS
