The role requires an active Virginia RN license, at least 2 years of PCU nursing experience in the last 4 years, and current BLS/ACLS certifications. Ideal candidates will have a recent QuantiFERON-TB Gold test, plus COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient assessments and monitor patient conditions.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and treatment responses.
• Administer medications, IV therapies and treatments.
• Collaborate with medical teams and document care.
• Maintain electronic medical records and follow infection control policies.
• Educate patients and families.

Role

PCU Registered Nurse (RN) for per diem hospital shifts in Hampton Roads, Virginia.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality patient care in acute-care settings, including assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient conditions; managing cardiac rhythms and patient status; administering medications, IV therapies, and treatments; collaborating with healthcare teams; maintaining electronic medical records; adhering to infection control and safety standards; educating patients and families; and adapting to various hospital units.

Qualifications & Skills

• Active Virginia RN License
• At least 2 years of recent PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
• Recent QuantiFERON-TB Gold test (within 12 months)
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption
• Additional credentials may be required based on facility needs
