Job summary

The PCU at CHI Health Good Samaritan in Kearney, Nebraska is seeking a dedicated RN to care for critically ill patients. You will monitor patients, administer medications and treatments, and work with physicians and the nursing team to develop individualized care plans.

The role includes educating patients and families, documenting changes, and ensuring timely charting. Eligible new hires may receive a sign-on bonus up to $13,500 and up to $10,000 in educational assistance.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license that allows you to practice in our state (Nebraska).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 5 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians and nursing team to devise and implement individualized care plans for patients.
• Administer medications, change dressings, monitor vital signs, and chart with timely documentation.
• Educate patients and their families on prevention and healthy habits, while fostering a supportive and compassionate environment.
