Job summary

Aya Healthcare has an immediate opening for a PCU Registered Nurse position in Lake Forest, IL. This assignment requires 12-hour nights and a 3-shift schedule with Nights, 3x12-Hour 19:00-07:30. Start date 10/19/2026, 12-week assignment, EPIC charting, Nights with patient ratios of 4 at night and 4 on weekends.

We seek 1 year of RN experience with ACLS, BLS, NIHSS certifications. Experience in Cardiac Telemetry, central lines, chest tubes and complex care is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year of nursing experience required.
• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS certifications must be current.
• Experience with ICU/stepdown environments and cardiac telemetry is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care in the PCU setting on a 12-hour night shift.
• Monitor patients using telemetry and ensure timely response to changes in condition.
• Administer medications and manage IV therapies per protocol.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to plan and implement patient care.
