Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Tradition Hospital in Port St. Lucie is seeking a Night Shift RN for the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). You will provide intermediate-level nursing care, monitor acutely ill patients, perform treatments, and support families in a fast-paced acute care setting.

Position requires 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM shifts, valid RN license, BLS/ACLS, and 1 year of acute care experience (or military RN experience). Opportunities for education and advancement are available.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN).
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the AHA or Red Cross.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification through the AHA or Red Cross.
• One year of current acute care RN experience OR licensed military RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care.
• Implement, monitor, evaluate, update and revise patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, document and communicate patients’ conditions.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
• Educate patients and their families.
