Job summary

Saint Francis Hospital Muskogee, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse I for the Progressive Care Unit on the Muskogee Campus.

The nurse will assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care using the nursing process in accordance with hospital standards and unit policies. The candidate must have completed basic nursing education and hold a valid Oklahoma RN license; 0–6 months of related experience is acceptable.

Qualifications

• Has completed the basic professional curricula of a school of nursing as approved and verified by a state board of nursing.
• Valid multi-state or State of Oklahoma Registered Nurse License.
• 0 - 6 months related experience.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work and be detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Uses the nursing process to care for patients.
• Assesses, organizes, and completes patient care considering age, culture, and psychosocial factors.
• Documents steps of the nursing process with proper medical terminology.
• Addresses problems and progress toward goals; facilitates discharge with referrals and patient education resources.
• Collaborates with other disciplines and participates in PI and educational activities.
