Job summary

TalentBurst is seeking a Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse for Eureka, CA on a night shift. The position runs 12-hour shifts, three days per week, totaling 36 hours weekly, with an onsite contract starting soon. Candidates must have 2+ years of ICU/stepdown experience, BLS/ACLS, and EPIC EMR proficiency.

The RN will manage respiratory therapies, IVs, central and PICC line care, cardiac monitoring, and telemetry in a PCU/DOU setting, ensuring patient safety and timely interventions.

Qualifications

• 2+ years RN experience in PCU/Stepdown, ICU, or similar setting.
• BLS/ACLS required.
• EPIC EMR proficiency is a must.

Responsibilities

• Care for PCU patients on night shift (12-hour shifts).
• Administer medications, monitor cardiac status and dysrhythmias.
• Perform IV therapy and manage lines (central and PICC).
• Assist with respiratory therapies and oxygen delivery.
• Follow isolation precautions and standard nursing procedures.
