First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking PCU RNs for per diem shifts with flexible scheduling and the option to work as few as one shift per month. Shifts run 7a-7p and 7p-7a, with daily and weekly pay options, empowering you to pick shifts that fit your life.

As a PCU RN, you will assess and monitor patients, administer medications and IV therapies, and document care in electronic medical records while collaborating with physicians and care teams.

Formación

• Active Virginia RN License
• Minimum 2 years of recent PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years
• Current AHA BLS
• Current AHA ACLS
• QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within the past 12 months
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption
• Additional credentials may be required based on facility assignment

Responsabilidades

• Assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient conditions
• Monitoring cardiac rhythms and changes in patient status
• Administering medications, IV therapies, and ordered treatments
• Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
• Maintaining accurate and timely electronic medical records
• Following facility infection-control and patient-safety standards
• Educating patients and families regarding care and discharge plans
• Adapting professionally to different hospital units and environments
