Per diem RNs have control over shifts, with a responsive local staffing team and hospital-based opportunities. This locally owned company has 15+ years in operation and emphasizes flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Virginia RN License and 2+ years PCU experience within the past 4 years.
• Current AHA BLS certification.
• Current AHA ACLS certification.
• QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within past 12 months.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption.
• Additional facility-specific credentials may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient conditions.
• Monitoring cardiac rhythms and changes in patient status.
• Administering medications, IV therapies, and ordered treatments.
• Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Maintaining accurate and timely electronic medical records.
• Following infection-control and patient-safety standards.
• Educating patients and families regarding care and discharge plans.
• Adapting to different hospital units and environments.
