First Choice Nurses is seeking experienced PCU Registered Nurses for per diem hospital shifts. Choose shifts that fit your life, with options for 7a-7p or 7p-7a, and daily/weekly pay options.

Per diem, hospital-based opportunities, and a locally owned staffing team provide flexible scheduling and support. Enjoy control over your schedule, with the opportunity to pick up as few as one shift per month and get paid promptly.

Qualifications

• Virginia RN license and current PCU practice.
• Minimum 2 years PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years.
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Recent QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within 12 months.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption.
• Additional credentials may be required by facility.

Responsibilities

• Assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient conditions.
• Monitoring cardiac rhythms and changes in patient status.
• Administering medications, IV therapies, and ordered treatments.
• Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Maintaining accurate and timely electronic medical records.
• Following facility infection-control and patient-safety standards.
• Educating patients and families regarding care and discharge plans.
• Adapting to different hospital units and environments.
