Job summary

First Choice Nurses is seeking experienced PCU RNs for per diem hospital shifts in Virginia. You can pick up shifts on a flexible schedule, with options for daily or weekly pay and easy mobile scheduling.

Requirements include an active Virginia RN license, 2 years PCU experience within 4 years, BLS and ACLS, and COVID-19 vaccination or exemption. Per diem roles let you control your own calendar and workload.

Qualifications

• Current Virginia RN License.
• Minimum 2 years of PCU nursing in the past 4 years.
• Current AHA BLS certification.
• Current AHA ACLS certification.
• QuantiFERON-TB test within 12 months.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption.

Responsibilities

• Assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient conditions.
• Monitoring cardiac rhythms and status changes.
• Administering medications, IV therapies, and ordered treatments.
• Collaborating with physicians and care teams.
• Maintaining electronic medical records.
• Following infection-control and patient-safety standards.
• Educating patients and families on care and discharge plans.
• Adapting to different hospital units and environments.
