First Choice Nurses is hiring experienced PCU Registered Nurses for per diem hospital shifts across Hampton Roads, Virginia. Shifts include 7a‑7p and 7p‑7a, with you choosing when to work to fit your life.

You can pick up an occasional extra shift or build a fuller schedule, with daily and weekly pay options and easy mobile scheduling. Hospital-based opportunities exist with a responsive local team.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN License.
• Minimum 2 years of recent PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years.
• Current AHA BLS.
• Current AHA ACLS.
• QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within the past 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in acute-care hospital environments.
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and changes in patient status.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments.
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records.
• Educate patients and families on care and discharge plans.
• Adapt to different hospital units and environments.
