As a PCU RN, you’ll deliver high-quality care in acute-care settings, meet licensure requirements, and collaborate with care teams. Choose how much you work—down to one shift per month—and enjoy options like daily or weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN license.
• 2 years PCU nursing experience within past 4 years.
• AHA BLS Current.
• AHA ACLS Current.
• QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within past 12 months.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption.

Responsibilities

• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and changes in patient status.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and ordered treatments.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records.
• Follow infection-control and patient-safety standards.
• Educate patients and families regarding care and discharge plans.
• Adapt professionally to different hospital units and environments.
