Job summary

UofL Health is seeking an experienced PCU RN for its internal agency team to support PCU/Mixed Acuity units across multiple hospitals in Louisville, KY. The role offers core employee benefits and premium pay for flexibility and experience.

RNs with at least two years in hospital PCU settings will join a 13-week assignment model, with placements based on staffing needs and patient care requirements. Collaboration with the care team is essential.

Qualifications

• Two years of PCU or mixed acuity hospital RN experience.
• Current RN licensure in Kentucky or compact state with privileges.
• BLS certification through AHA.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to PCU patients across age groups.
• Administer and monitor medications with accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to plan and adjust care.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and discharge needs.
