You will administer medications, educate families, coordinate with a multidisciplinary team, and document care activities to ensure quality outcomes. This role requires RN licensure, BLS, and acute care experience.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in English (read, verbal and written)
• Basic computer skills – able to navigate Windows-based programs
• Ability to use abstract reasoning to assess patient, evaluate interventions, and revise plan of care

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments across physical, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors
• Develop and implement individualized care plans and regularly review them
• Administer medications and treatments safely per physician orders and protocols
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, and self-care
• Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate patient care and ensure effective communication
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient information and outcomes in the medical record
• Evaluate care plans and adjust to improve health outcomes
• Ensure infection control and safety standards are followed
• Provide emotional support and therapeutic communication to patients and families
• Supervise and delegate care to ensure quality and efficiency
• Engage in professional development and performance improvement activities
• Respond to code situations promptly and provide interventions
