Community Health Systems in Poplar Bluff, MO, is seeking an RN for our Progressive Care Unit (PCU). You will provide patient-centered care for intermediate to higher-acuity patients, monitor cardiac rhythms, administer meds, and collaborate with physicians and the care team to ensure safe, effective outcomes.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting required.
• RN licensure and Basic Life Support required; ACLS/PALS/NRP preferred.
• Strong knowledge of the nursing process and clinical nursing practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to intermediate and higher-acuity patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and ordered treatments
• Coordinate care with physicians and multidisciplinary team members
• Educate and support patients and families throughout hospitalization
• Maintain accurate documentation and promote safe, patient-centered care
