First Choice Nurses is seeking experienced PCU RNs for per diem hospital shifts across Hampton Roads, Virginia. You can pick shifts that fit your life, with options for daily and weekly pay and flexible scheduling.

Licensure in Virginia is required, along with 2+ years of recent PCU experience, BLS and ACLS certifications, and necessary infection screening. Per diem work offers freedom and reliable local support from FCN.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN license is required.
• Minimum 2 years of PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years.
• Current AHA BLS certification.
• Current AHA ACLS certification.
• QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within the past 12 months.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption.

Responsabilités

• Assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient conditions.
• Monitoring cardiac rhythms and changes in patient status.
• Administering medications, IV therapies, and ordered treatments.
• Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Maintaining accurate and timely electronic medical records.
• Following facility infection-control and patient-safety standards.
• Educating patients and families regarding care and discharge plans.
• Adapting professionally to different hospital units and environments.
