First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is hiring PCU Registered Nurses for per diem hospital shifts across Hampton Roads, Virginia. You’ll choose shifts that fit your life, with options like 7a-7p and 7p-7a, and enjoy local staffing support and daily/weekly pay options.

Active Virginia RN license and 2 years of PCU experience required, plus BLS/ACLS and TB test. Vaccination or approved exemption is required, with additional facilities standards as needed.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN License
• Minimum 2 years of recent PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years
• Current AHA BLS
• Current AHA ACLS
• Current QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within the past 12 months
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption
• Additional credentials may be required based on facility assignment

Responsabilités

• Assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient conditions
• Monitoring cardiac rhythms and changes in patient status
• Administering medications, IV therapies, and ordered treatments
• Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
• Maintaining accurate and timely electronic medical records
• Following facility infection-control and patient-safety standards
• Educating patients and families regarding care and discharge plans
• Adapting professionally to different hospital units and environments
