Job summary
First Choice Nurses is seeking experienced PCU Registered Nurses for per diem hospital shifts across Hampton Roads, Virginia. Earn $56.25-$57.25/hour and pick shifts that fit your life, with options for daily or weekly pay.
Enjoy flexible scheduling: work as few as one shift per month or build a fuller schedule. Requirements include Virginia RN license, 2 years PCU experience in the past 4 years, BLS, ACLS, TB test, and vaccination per facility policy.
Qualifications
- Virginia RN license required.
- Minimum 2 years PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years.
- Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications.
- QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within the past 12 months.
- COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption.
Responsibilities
- Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions.
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and changes in patient status.
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and ordered treatments.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams.
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records.
- Follow facility infection-control and patient-safety standards.
- Educate patients and families regarding care and discharge plans.
- Adapt professionally to different hospital units and environments.
