AdventHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team in Georgia for a full-time night shift. You will develop patient care plans, administer medications, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Administers all types of medications correctly per age group for all populations served according to policy.
• Proficient in the use of electronic medical records and automated dispensing medication systems for efficient medication administration and patient data retrieval.
• Demonstrates proficient technical skills and operational knowledge of all equipment used on the unit.

Responsibilities

• Identifies and formulates expected outcomes based on diagnoses, ensuring they are realistic, attainable, and culturally appropriate.
• Develops individualized plans of care in collaboration with the patient, family, and healthcare providers, ensuring continuity and documentation.
• Implements interventions from the plan of care safely, timely, and appropriately, documenting actions taken.
• Evaluates patient progress towards outcomes, revising diagnoses, outcomes, and plans of care as needed.
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families, physicians, and staff, maintaining professional relationships and promoting a positive environment.
• Educates patients and families on health conditions, procedures, and care plans, ensuring understanding and compliance.
• Maintains compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies, ensuring legal and ethical practice.
• Participates in quality improvement activities to enhance patient care and nursing practices.
• Serves as a patient advocate, ensuring patient rights and needs are respected and addressed.
• Collects and documents patient health data systematically and continuously.
• Analyzes assessment data to determine and validate diagnoses with the patient, family, and healthcare providers.
