Job summary

Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital in Darby, PA to join the PCU unit on a night shift schedule (7:00 PM–7:30 AM) with every other weekend. The role emphasizes delivering evidence-based patient care in a collaborative environment as part of an interdisciplinary team.

The RN will provide thorough assessments, care plans, and documentation while supporting patient and family involvement in care decisions.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing required; BSN highly preferred.
• Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse in PA or Compact State.
• ICU experience preferred.
• BCLS required or obtained by orientation.
• ACLS required or obtained by orientation if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to hospital nursing practice standards, demonstrates assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
• Assist the emergent patient and document accordingly on Emergency Room nursing tool.
• Identify patient needs based on objective data and follow through with documentation.
• Implement nursing actions appropriate to each patient.
• Make decisions reflecting knowledge and sound judgment.
• Discuss with patient and/or family about planned care and outcomes and document.
• Utilize multidisciplinary approach to deliver patient care.

Education

Associate's Degree in Nursing
