Job summary

CHI Health Mercy Council Bluffs is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide compassionate nursing care to residents under the direction of a physician or RN. You will assess resident needs and deliver essential physical or psychosocial care daily.

Demonstrate compassion for patient well-being, explain procedures, answer questions, and maintain accurate documentation as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a LPN nursing program.
• Licensed Practical Nurse (IA) license required upon hire.
• Basic Life Support (CPR) certification required upon hire.
• Expanded IV Therapy course within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Follow the nursing process (assess, plan, implement, evaluate) under RN/physician supervision.
• Assess resident needs and deliver essential physical or psychosocial care daily.
• Provide compassionate nursing care and maintain accurate documentation.
