Qualifications

• 0–2 years of clinical nursing experience or student rotations in acute care required.
• RN licensure in state required.
• BCLS certification required; ACLS/PALS/NRP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers patient-centered care per nursing process and policies.
• Performs thorough patient assessments and documents findings; reports changes promptly.
• Administers prescribed medications and monitors for side effects.
• Assists physicians during procedures within documented competency.
• Develops, implements, and evaluates individualized care plans with the team.
• Responds to emergencies and participates in CPR and code team activities.
• Educates patients and families on conditions, plans, and post-discharge care.
• Maintains infection control protocols to prevent infections.
• Operates and monitors medical equipment (IV pumps, monitors, ventilators).
• Documents care thoroughly in medical records and supports quality improvement.
