Location: Remote with 50% travel required

Summary: Looking to identify individuals to support the validation and accuracy of payroll data during a system migration or implementation. This role is critical to ensuring that the new payroll system produces outputs that match the legacy system through structured parallel testing. The ideal candidate has deep knowledge of payroll processing and a strong background in data reconciliation, testing, and issue resolution.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct parallel payroll runs by comparing outputs between the legacy and new payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Workday, SAP, Oracle).
• Analyze differences in payroll calculations including gross pay, taxes, deductions, benefits, garnishments, and net pay.
• Extract, organize, and validate payroll data using tools such as Excel, SQL, or payroll platforms.
• Collaborate with payroll, HRIS, IT, and vendor teams to define test scripts and payroll scenarios for testing cycles.
• Document test cases, test results, and detailed discrepancy logs.
• Investigate and resolve mismatches or anomalies in pay data through root cause analysis.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations during testing and validation.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and go-live readiness with clear communication and accurate reporting.

Skill-sets:

• Possesses 3-5+ years of experience working in a large, complex payroll environment with duties that included parallel testing, processing and auditing
• Experience working within PeopleSoft ERP system in the payroll modules
• Experience working within the Oracle Cloud ERP system in payroll modules
• Have completed at least 1 full implementation and performed at least one complete payroll parallel testing exercise
• Familiarity working with UKG and Kronos technologies a plus

• Must have Bachelor's degree from accredited university or college
