Job summary

Sanford Health in Fargo, ND is seeking a Patient Care Technician to support bedside nursing care and daily living activities for patients, under supervision. Shifts include 7:00am-3:30pm and 3:00pm-11:30pm with every other weekend/holiday rotations; occasional night/weekend bonuses noted.

Will record vital stats and assist with treatments and mobility in a fast-paced hospital setting. Ideal candidates are high school graduates with Healthcare knowledge; CNA preferred and ND Nurse Aide Registry

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Knowledge of healthcare terminology and medical equipment preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) preferred; ND nurse aide registry compliance if ND.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under RN/LPN supervision.
• Record vital signs and health information; prepare treatment areas and equipment.
• Assist with dressing, bathing, grooming, meals, mobility, and basic care tasks.
• Perform clerical duties related to scheduling and documenting patient care.
