Responsibilities

• Communicates with and supports the interprofessional team, patient, family and designated care partners.
• Performs direct and indirect patient care activities under supervision of licensed clinicians.
• Maintains a safe patient care environment and supports unit safety.
• Assists with supplies and equipment to ensure efficient unit operations.
• Performs patient rounds, anticipates needs, and responds promptly to calls or pages.
• May serve as a virtual safety associate as needed by campus requirements.
• May aid clinical exams with peripheral devices and telehealth technology under provider direction.
