Job summary

AdventHealth in Florida is hiring a patient care tech / certified nursing assistant to join a full-time day shift team. Performs bedside care under RN guidance and participates in safety and documentation procedures to ensure high-quality patient care.

Required: High School diploma, BLS/CPR, CNA or equivalent certification. Prior acute-care experience preferred and a commitment to compassionate care in a faith-based health system.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• CNA or CPCT/A or NCPCT or PCT-C or EMT certification required.
• 1+ PCT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists in delivering patient care under the direction of a registered nurse.
• Documents procedures per department policy.
• Maintains a clean and safe patient-care environment.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team.
