Job summary

Sanford Health’s Jamestown Family Medicine Clinic is seeking a Patient Care Technician to join the team. The role operates Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm with no weekends or holidays, and offers full-time benefits. Wage is based on experience and includes a sign-on bonus for eligible employees.

The PCT performs basic patient care under supervision, taking vital signs and assisting providers in a busy ambulatory setting. A CNA and BLS are preferred; clinic experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Minimum of six months’ experience preferred.
• Experience in a clinic setting preferred.
• Knowledge of healthcare, anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and medical equipment/supplies preferred.
• CNA preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for health care providers required or within the first 60 days of employment.

The Jamestown Family Medicine Clinic is looking for a Patient Care Tech (PCT) to join their team. Clinic schedule is Monday - Friday 8:00am-5:00pm with no weekends or holidays. Ideally looking for someone who can work on our busier clinic days - Tues, Thurs, and Fridays. This is a flex position but qualifies for full time benefits! Wage is also adjusted based on experience! Summary

The Patient Care Technician (PCT) performs basic patient care services and supports activities within ambulatory services. Patient Care Technicians are multi-skilled to provide expanded services under the direct supervision of a licensed clinical professional.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred, but not required.
• Minimum of six months’ experience preferred.
• Experience in a clinic setting preferred.
• Knowledge of healthcare, anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and medical equipment/supplies preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) preferred.
• Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for health care providers required or within the first 60 days of employment.
• If working in North Dakota (ND) and not a Certified Nursing Assistant, must be registered as a Nursing Assistant (NA) through the North Dakota Department of Health within four months from the date of initial employment.
