BayCare is looking for Patient Care Techs/Certified Nursing Assistants/CNAs to join our team!

Patient Care Tech/Certified Nursing Assistant positions are available with Mease Countryside Hospital in Safety Harbor. Position details - Patient Care Tech/Certified Nursing Assistant:

1. Location: Mease Countryside Hospital - 3231 McMullen Booth Rd., Safety Harbor, FL 34695
2. Full time hours are 3 twelve-hour shifts per week and every other weekend
3. Part time hours are 2 twelve-hour shifts per week and every other weekend
4. Shifts: Day shifts 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM & Night shifts 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM

The Patient Care Tech/ Certified Nursing Assistant responsibilities and skills:

1. Provides direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse.
2. Assists the nursing staff in the delivery of patient care as directed by the RN.

Requirements:

1. High School Diploma or GED minimum
2. Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (from American Red Cross or American Heart Association)
3. A minimum of one year of licensed CNA work experience in a skilled nursing facility; or a minimum of 6 months of PCT (Patient Care Tech)/CNA work experience in a hospital; or in lieu of experience may have completed approved CNA school (with clinicals); or nursing student with completion of Nursing Fundamentals
4. Extended new hire training and new hire department orientation is available for new Florida licensed CNA – Certified Nursing Assistant with no experience yet
5. Ability to work Full time hours is a plus!
