CORALVITA Healthcare is seeking compassionate PCTs/CNAs to join our clinical team in Richardson, TX. You will work under an RN/LPN/LVN to provide patient care, monitor conditions and assist with daily living activities in a post-acute setting.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, a PCT/CNA program or equivalent, and current BLS certification. CNA/PCT certification in the state is preferred; dependability and strong teamwork are essential for safe, patient-centered care.

Qualificações

• Completion of Nursing Assistant or PCT program or CORALVITA's PCT training.
• Current BLS certification from a CORALVITA-approved provider.
• Current CNA or PCT certification, as applicable to the state.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, toileting and feeding.
• Obtain and document vital signs, weights, intake/output as directed.
• Observe changes in patient condition and report promptly to a licensed nurse.
• Provide delegated patient care and assist during treatments and procedures.
• Encourage comfort, safety, independence and dignity.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment following infection prevention standards.

Position Summary

CORALVITA Healthcare is seeking compassionate and dependablePatient Care Technicians (PCTs) / Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our clinical team.

Working under the direction of an RN/LPN/LVN, the PCT/CNA provides hands-on care and support to patients with complex medical needs. This role assists with activities of daily living, monitors and reports changes in patient condition, and works closely with the nursing team to provide safe, respectful, patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, toileting, feeding, mobility, positioning, and personal care.
• Obtain and document vital signs, weights, intake/output, and other patient information as directed.
• Observe patients and promptly report changes in physical or emotional condition to the licensed nurse.
• Provide delegated patient care and assist the nursing team during treatments, procedures, and emergency situations.
• Encourage patient comfort, safety, independence, and dignity throughout care.
• Maintain a clean and safe patient environment while following infection prevention, safety, and confidentiality standards.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an approvedNursing Assistant or Patient Care Technician program, or successful completion of CORALVITA Healthcare's PCT training and orientation program.
• CurrentBLS certification from a CORALVITA-approved provider.
• CurrentCNA or PCT certification, as applicable to the state of employment, preferred.

Experience & Skills

• Previous patient care experience in a hospital, post-acute, LTAC, rehabilitation, skilled nursing, or similar healthcare setting preferred.
• Phlebotomy and ECG/EKG training preferred.
• Ability to obtain and accurately document vital signs and patient information.
• Ability to recognize and promptly communicate changes in patient condition.
• Strong communication, organization, teamwork, and prioritization skills.
• Comfortable providing hands-on care to patients with complex medical needs.
