Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) Apprenticeship Program Educator in New Jersey. The Educator will teach PCT apprentice and preceptor classes, maintain standardized curricula, and coordinate with Nursing Leadership and HR to schedule sessions.

The role requires a BSN and at least two years of acute care nursing experience, with prior teaching experience and regulatory knowledge to ensure program quality and patient safety.

Qualifications

BSN degree required.
Minimum of two years' nursing experience in acute care setting.
Maintains clinical competencies in area of specialty and demonstrates expertise in scope of practice of Nursing Support Staff.
Prior experience in teaching.

Responsibilities

Educates PCT apprentices and preceptors using didactic and blended methods.
Maintains education standardization and program integrity.
Schedules classes and coordinates with HR and campus site leadership.
Evaluates learning experiences and curricular content for improvements.
Manages resources for training and collaborates with Nursing Leadership and program leadership.
