Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is hiring a PCT Apprentice in New Jersey to begin in the Patient Care Technician Apprentice role, supporting care teams and learning essential clinical skills during training.

Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, you will be transferred to the Patient Care Technician role. AHA BLS certification must be obtained within 60 days; a high school diploma or GED is required, with multiple eligible programs including CNA/MA/PCT pathways or HMH PCT Apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School diploma or GED.
• Completion of a CNA/MA/PCT program, Fundamentals of Nursing, HMH PCT Apprenticeship, or equivalent medical background.

Responsibilities

• Support patient care teams as a PCT Apprentice.
• Complete the HMH PCT Apprenticeship Program and be transferred to the Patient Care Technician role upon successful completion.
• Obtain AHA Basic Health Care Life Support (BLS) certification within the first 60 days of employment.
