Job summary

Arconic Corporation in Davenport Works seeks a PCS Software Engineer to maintain and develop software systems that control and monitor manufacturing processes, production machinery and quality/safety systems.

The position reports to the Senior PCS Engineer and works with a core group of engineers across the plant, usually Monday–Friday daytime hours, with on-call support for off-shifts as needed.

Job description

The PCS Software Engineer is responsible for maintaining and developing software systems utilized to control and monitor Arconic's manufacturing process. These software systems oversee the operation of our production machinery and are integral to production, quality, and safety. This Software Engineer reports though the Senior PCS Engineer and collaborates with a core group of Engineers throughout the plant.

The Software Engineer will primarily work Monday through Friday during daytime hours and support off-shifts as needed for your respective projects or designated areas.
