A community healthcare network is looking for a GP assistant and phlebotomist to join their team in Woodbridge. This role involves conducting blood tests and providing care to patients at home. Candidates must have a qualification in venepuncture, experience in healthcare, and a valid driving license. Flexible hours are available for the right candidate.
Deben Health Group Primary Care Network (PCN) is looking for a GP assistant and community phlebotomist to join their team on a full or part-time basis. Based at our PCN office in Riduna Park, Melton, this is a community-based role involving domiciliary working as a lone practitioner, so you must hold a valid driving license and have access to a car to be considered.
This role plays a vital part in supporting clinicians in delivering high-quality primary care across the PCN and will offer patients care in their own homes to complete blood tests and other observations. If you are an experienced phlebotomist looking for a new challenge, we would love to hear from you.
The Deben Health Group PCN is set in picturesque Suffolk, just outside Woodbridge, and is close to the Historic Sutton Hoo with the beautiful Constable country nearby. We comprise four member practices: Wickham Market Medical Centre, The Peninsula Practice, Little St Johns Street Surgery and Framfield House Surgery, with a joint patient population of approximately 40,000, each with its unique strengths and expertise.
Our aim is to leverage these strengths and foster collaboration among our network members to deliver the key objectives contained in the Directed Enhanced Service Contract (DES) from NHS England and NHS Improvement, and to enhance the quality and efficiency of care delivery. By working together, we can offer a wide range of services, support, and coordinated care to improve patient outcomes.
If you would like to find out more information about this role, please see the attached job specification.
