Key Responsibilities
  • The Fleet Manager, Broadcast and Media, plays a crucial role within the Broadcast and Media department, providing technical, production, and special project support for shipboard and shoreside operations. This role requires strong technical knowledge of broadcast equipment and excellent teaching skills to train others in its use. It also supports the Entertainment team for technical and creative purposes, including during dry docks and new builds.
  • The role ensures high production value across the fleet, supports content production and playback for Guest and Teammates TV, collaborates with onboard management to improve broadcast support, and coordinates with theater teams to maintain broadcast equipment in entertainment spaces. It also acts as a liaison with vendors and technical staff during projects, managing vendor content implementation and assisting revenue teams in creating compliant commercial content.
  • This role involves directing, coaching, supervising, and evaluating Broadcast Managers and Operators, supporting video shoot setups, and recommending promotions and development for team members.
  • Financial responsibilities include managing budgets, expenses, and revenue targets, controlling costs, and maintaining accurate records of company expenses and equipment.
  • The role includes creating, editing, and producing content related to onboard entertainment and activities, updating video content for programming and shows, and assisting in creating ship-specific TV content using approved assets.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
  • Subject matter expertise and proven leadership in broadcast teams.
  • Ability to drive strategic discussions and collaborate with external clients and partners on content initiatives.
  • Excellent project management and production skills, with experience analyzing budgets, schedules, and production plans.
