Job summary

Emerald Technologies, an EMS provider, is seeking a Shipping Lead in Brea, CA. The role oversees daily shipping operations, coordinates domestic and international shipments, and ensures inventory accuracy and timely delivery.

Strong customer service and problem‑solving skills are essential. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years in shipping/logistics within manufacturing, proficiency in ERP systems, and excellent communication abilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of shipping, logistics, warehouse, or inventory control experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in electronics manufacturing, EMS, or PCBA environments preferred.
• Strong knowledge of shipping documentation, carrier systems, freight coordination, and customer‑specific shipping requirements.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Adobe.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily shipping operations and ensure on-time delivery.
• Verify the accuracy of shipping notices, bills of lading (BOLs), packing slips, invoices, and other shipping documentation.
• Coordinate with carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries, track shipments, and resolve shipping‑related issues.
• Utilize ERP and reporting systems to verify inventory transactions and ensure shipments are processed against correct customer orders.
• Maintain accurate shipping, inventory, and transaction records and support inventory control of semi‑finished and finished goods.
• Assist with training, process improvements, and resolution of shipping discrepancies to support efficiency.
