Job summary

HYVE Solutions seeks a Quality Engineer II to independently drive quality investigations and corrective actions within a PCBA manufacturing environment. You will move issues from identification to containment, root cause, corrective action, verification and sustainment with limited supervision.

The role collaborates with Manufacturing, Engineering and QA teams to ensure customer requirements are met and processes are continuously improved, across SMT, through-hole, and related assembly stages.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or related field required.
• 3–5 years of Quality Engineering experience in manufacturing is preferred.
• Experience with root cause analysis, corrective actions, and process improvement.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing process controls and electronics/PCBA manufacturing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead investigations related to internal defects, customer complaints, process failures, audits and issues.
• Own NCRs, CARs, CAPAs, and quality investigations.
• Drive containment, root cause analysis, corrective action effectiveness, and sustainment.
• Support quality across SMT, through-hole, mechanical assembly, AOI, AXI, inspection, test, rework, repair, and shipping.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Materials, and QA teams to resolve issues.
• Translate customer requirements into manufacturing controls, inspection criteria and procedures.
• Conduct process and internal audits and follow-ups.
• Analyze quality trends and drive improvements in FPY, DPPM, fallout, and scrap.
