Job summary

Biztech Inc is looking for a Wire Technician/Assembler in Denville, New Jersey. The successful candidate will assemble and wire sub-assemblies, solder wires to PCBs, and perform modifications as needed. Responsibilities also include maintaining a clean workspace and assisting in inspections.

The position requires a high school diploma, solder certification, and the ability to read assembly drawings. Candidates must be US citizens and possess strong communication skills in English.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent work experience/technical training.
• Solder certification is required.
• Must be a US Citizen.
• Ability to read and understand assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, and PCBs.
• Experience with hand and manufacturing tools.
• Knowledge of quality control procedures.
• Must be able to communicate clearly in English.
• Availability for overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

• Assemble instrument sub-assemblies and products as instructed.
• Wire sub-assemblies, cables, and products using hand tools.
• Solder wires to printed circuit boards (PCBs).
• Rework and modify PCB assemblies as needed.
• Create mechanical test fixtures.
• Assist in inspecting metal work in the receiving department.
• Make minor modifications to metal parts in the company machine shop.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Perform other tasks as directed by the supervisor.

Skills

Ability to read and understand assembly drawings

Experience with hand and manufacturing tools

Knowledge of quality control procedures

Education
