Job summary

Projects Unlimited is seeking a Post Wave Operator to assemble PCBs and sub-assemblies in a climate-controlled facility in Dayton, OH. The role emphasizes following precise work instructions, reading technical drawings, and meeting production goals while ensuring quality standards.

You will hand-solder components, inspect work, and maintain clean, safe work practices on the production floor. Prior IPC certifications are preferred; employment offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years hand soldering electronic components on PCBs.
• Experience hand soldering under magnification preferred.
• IPC-610, IPC-620, and J-Std certifications preferred (obtained after hire).
• Strong attention to detail and basic computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electronic components, sub-assemblies, products, or systems following work instructions and customer specs.
• Solder surface mount and through-hole components on PCBs by hand or under a microscope.
• Rework and repair defective units to conform to specs.
• Maintain production schedules and quality standards; keep production records.
• Ensure a clean, safe, ESD-compliant work environment.
