Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Machine Maintenance Technician in Bastrop, Texas to maintain and troubleshoot PCB manufacturing equipment as part of the Starlink project. This role requires a high school diploma, relevant experience, and the ability to work with hazardous materials while following safety protocols.

The technician will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs on production line equipment, and training production personnel. An ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with mechanical and electrical systems, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of maintenance or troubleshooting experience with various mechanical and electrical systems.
• Current or past certification for IPC-A-600, IPC-6012 or equivalent.
• Ability to maintain a safe working environment and follow quality policies.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs of production line equipment.
• Utilize diagnostic equipment to monitor equipment performance.
• Communicate with suppliers and specify requirements.
