Job summary

The Panther Group is seeking an experienced PCB Rework Technician to join our Cranston, RI electronics manufacturing team. You will perform hand soldering and rework on PCBs, install SMT and through-hole components, and read APIs and assembly drawings.

You will use a soldering iron, microscope, and hand tools, handling small components with care while maintaining quality and safety. Responsibilities include inspecting work, keeping a clean area, and supporting additional manufacturing tasks as

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED is required.
Previous hand soldering experience on PCBs.
Experience with SMT and/or through-hole components.
Ability to read and follow written work instructions in English.
Ability to work under a microscope for extended periods.

Responsibilities

Perform hand soldering and rework on printed circuit boards (PCBs).
Install and replace SMT and through-hole components.
Read APIs, work instructions, and assembly drawings.
Use soldering irons, microscopes, hand tools, and other assembly equipment safely and effectively.
Work with small and delicate electronic components while avoiding damage.
Inspect completed work to ensure quality and workmanship standards.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Support additional manufacturing and assembly tasks as assigned.
