Job summary

Fralock is seeking a Quality Inspector for on-site work in Milpitas, CA. This role focuses on final inspection of PCB assemblies, with possible use of a microscope or halo light, and requires close supervision under the manufacturing team.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, ensuring IPC-600 compliance, and ensuring assemblies meet drawings and BOM specifications. The position supports quality and delivery goals and requires attention to detail and the ability to follow established

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status required for ITAR compliance.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English to perform the job.
• Ability to read and interpret PCB prints and specifications.
• Ability to visually verify fine-detail work.
• Ability to follow directions regarding manufacturing flex circuits.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and PCB drawings to ensure quality products.
• Workmanship and inspection to IPC-600 (or similar) standards.
• Ensure PCB assemblies are built and compliant to specifications, customer drawings and BOM.
• Inspect drawings for adequacy and ensure proper authorization with dates.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Execute in-line quality protocols, final QC processes, and IQC procedures.
• Follow production priorities as established by the Head of Operations or Production Manager.
• Inspect and test products per work order or special instructions.
• Perform First Article inspection may include AS9102 documentation.
• Follow all company and departmental processes and procedures.
• Be willing to be trained in inspection techniques and quality methodologies.
