Job summary

NVIDIA Corporation seeks a PCB Library Engineer to join the PCB Design Infrastructure team in Santa Clara, CA. You will develop and maintain PCB library assets, working with design and manufacturing teams to enable product development across data center, AI, networking, automotive, and graphics platforms.

You will create footprints, symbols, panel definitions, and other assets, review datasheets, support verification and release, and pursue automation and standards like IPC, DFM, DFA, and DFT to

Qualifications

• BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of relevant experience in PCB design or library work.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and datasheets.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly and work collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Develop PCB footprints, padstacks, schematic symbols, and mechanical library content using Cadence PCB design tools.
• Review component datasheets, package drawings, and engineering specifications to create accurate design libraries.
• Support library verification, release, and documentation processes.
• Collaborate with PCB design, mechanical, manufacturing, and operations teams to resolve library issues.
• Learn and apply IPC, DFM, DFA, and DFT principles.
• Support quality initiatives to ensure library content is manufacturable and scalable.
• Participate in continuous improvement and automation efforts in the library environment.
• Develop an understanding of PCB fabrication, assembly, and component technologies.
