Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a PCB Library Engineer to join our PCB Design Infrastructure team. You will develop and maintain library assets used across Data Center, AI, Networking, Automotive, and Graphics products, creating footprints, symbols, and mechanical components for high-performance designs.

Working with seasoned engineers, you will ensure libraries meet IPC standards and manufacturing requirements, participate in automation initiatives, and help scale our design assets to support cutting-edge

Qualifications

• BS degree in Electrical/Computer/Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or related field, or equivalent
• 2+ years of relevant experience
• Strong attention to detail and quality commitment
• Ability to interpret datasheets and drawings
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly
• Demonstrated collaborative engineering experience

Responsibilities

• Develop PCB footprints, padstacks, symbols, and mechanical content using Cadence tools
• Review datasheets, package drawings, and specs for accurate libraries
• Support library verification, release, and documentation
• Collaborate with design, mechanical, manufacturing, and operations teams to resolve issues
• Learn and apply IPC, DFM, DFA, and DFT principles
• Support quality initiatives to ensure manufacturability and scalability
• Participate in continuous improvement and automation within the library
• Develop understanding of PCB fabrication, assembly, and component tech
