Job summary

Piper Companies based in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a PCB Layout Designer to design and route custom PCB assemblies for a mission-critical program. You will interpret schematics and engineering drawings while reviewing designs for manufacturability and performance.

Qualifications

Zachary Piper is seeking a PCB Layout Designer to support a large multidisciplinary program for a mission critical initiative. This will be working with state of art PCB layouts and working with great minds in a new industry.

Responsibilities

• Perform design PCB layout and routing for custom electronic assemblies
• Review PCB designs for manufacturability, functionality, and design requirements
• Assist with identifying and resolving PCB design and hardware issues
• Interpret schematics, documentation, and engineering drawings
• Support prototype builds, testing, modifications, and design improvements

Qualifications

• High school diploma
• 3+ year of hands on experience with PCB Design/Layout
• PCB testing and hardware debugging
• Cadence Allegro, OrCAD, Altium Designer, or other PCB layout software
• Must be able to pass a government background check

Compensation Package

• Salary Range: 80k-130k
