Job summary

Sanmina Corporation is seeking a Lab Technician to prepare micro-sections from circuit boards for final shipment and for in-process evaluation. The role includes chemical analysis of plating solutions, cleaners, and micro-etches.

You will perform data entry, complete evaluation forms, and use CVS and AA equipment. A strong background in PCB manufacturing and proficiency with Microsoft Office are required.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or equivalent circuit board experience preferred.
• 2-4 years PCB manufacturing experience.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint; experience with shop floor software to complete Oracle/MRP transactions.
• Ability to read and understand Customer specifications.
• Ability to evaluate cross section testing to IPC 6012.
• Must be able to perform repetitive lifting and grinding to prepare cross sections.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and evaluate cross sections for all shipments required.
• Complete the proper evaluation forms and data entry.
• Thermal stress samples as needed.
• Utilize CVS equipment and run chemical analysis.
• Familiarity with True Cham software is a plus.
