Job summary

Qualifications

  • 5+ years directly applicable industry experience; 10+ years preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering; Master's degree preferred.
  • Proficiency in circuit design, PCB layout, high voltage pulsed power, and MCU/FPGA integration.
  • Familiarity with MIL-STD-1901a and MIL-STD-1316 standards is a plus.
  • Familiarity with the DoD munitions safety process.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with simulation and design software (Altium, MATLAB, SPICE).
  • Hands on soldering and electronics assembly experience.

Responsibilities

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in circuit design, PCB layout, microcontroller/FPGA integration, and testing. This role requires a strong technical background and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Design and develop electrical circuits for safety-critical applications, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

  • Work on high voltage pulsed power systems, including design, analysis, and implementation.

  • Create and optimize PCB layouts for complex electronic systems, ensuring manufacturability and reliability.

  • Conduct thorough testing and validation of electrical systems to ensure performance and safety requirements are met.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product development and troubleshooting efforts.

  • Document design processes, test results, and compliance with relevant standards.

  • Support test events at various facilities.

  • Conduct peer reviews and provide feedback on other's electronic designs.

  • Stay current with industry trends and advancements in electrical engineering technologies.
