Job summary

Responsibilities include interpreting schematics and BOMs, supporting data-driven improvements with Test Engineering, following safety rules, and collaborating with the Diagnostic department to meet yield goals.

Qualifications

• Understand probability, statistics and basic geometry.
• Apply fractions, percentages and proportions to tasks.
• Able to present information to managers and customers.
• Define problems, collect data, derive conclusions.
• Proficient with Windows-based PC and software.
• Knowledge of Jabil software packages.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Read and understand visuals and diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair opens, shorts, and Boundary scan failures to component level on electronic circuit board assemblies.
• Use electronic test and measurement equipment proficiently.
• Interpret schematics, BOMs, visuals, testing tools and procedures.
• Assist Test Engineering with data evaluation to improve diagnosis efficiency.
• Follow production requirements, rules, policies and procedures.
• Work as a team to achieve Diagnostic department yield goals.
• Adhere to safety, health rules and security procedures.
• May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
