Job summary

Actalent is seeking a detail-oriented PCB Designer for high-density multilayer, flex, and rigid-flex boards used in wearable devices and medical products. The role is contract-based and onsite in Northridge, CA, involving Altium/OrCAD design, RF routing, and DFM compliance.

The successful candidate will develop schematics, layouts, stackups, and manufacturing files, coordinating with engineers and manufacturers to ensure manufacturability and quality.

Qualifications

• Experience with PCB design and layout for multilayer, flex, and rigid-flex boards.
• Proficiency in Altium Designer, Altium 365, and/or OrCAD.
• Knowledge of IPC board design standards.
• Experience with RF and high-speed signal routing.
• Understanding of DFM principles.
• Familiarity with ASME/ANSI documentation standards.

Responsibilities

Overview

Seeking a detail-oriented PCB Designer with experience designing high-density multilayer, flex, and rigid-flex circuit boards for wearable devices and medical products.

Key Responsibilities

• Create schematics and PCB layouts using Altium Designer (or similar tools such as OrCAD)


• Design high-speed, RF, and impedance-controlled circuits with length matching and crosstalk mitigation

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Northridge, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52.75 - $54.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
