Job summary

L&T Technology Services is seeking a PCB Design Engineer in Austin, TX with strong Cadence Allegro experience. You will design PCBs from schematic capture through Gerber release, ensuring high-speed signal integrity and proper routing.

Responsibilities include collaboration with customers and cross-functional teams, mentoring teammates, and ensuring documentation and Gerber releases meet manufacturing standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in PCB ECAD design using Cadence Allegro V17.2 / 17.4 is mandatory.
• Knowledge in PCB eCAD & Library using Cadence Allegro eCAD tool.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers and cross-functional teams to gather requirements.
• Guide and support team members on PCB design tasks and reviews.
• Document designs and release Gerber files for fabrication.

Job description

• Experience in PCB ECAD design using Cadence Allegro V17.2 / 17.4 (Mandatory)
• Knowledge in PCB eCAD & Library using Cadence allegro eCAD tool.
• Experience in Constraints editor System,
• Strong Design knowledge from schematics to Gerber.
• Experience in Digital, Analog & Mixed signal designs.
• Knowledge on Routing High speed PCB, Power plane, Creepages and clearance, length matching
• Knowledge on High speed interfaces such (SATA, DDR4, DDR5, USB, Ethernet, PCIe, PMIC etc)
• Knowledge on RF boards
• Electrical nets routing and length matching.
• Documentation and Gerber release.
• Interaction with customer and cross functional teams.
• Guide and support team members
• Good knowledge in Industry standards and manufacturing.
• Documentation and Gerber release.

The expected salary range for this position is between $90K - $120K annually. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business line, and geographic/office location.
